This is a fixed deposit scheme from Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC).

About the company. STFC is India’s largest asset financing non-banking financial corporation (NBFC) with over Rs 30,000 crore of assets under management (AUM). The company has a customer base of over 600,000. Its AUM has grown by a compounded annual growth rate of over 65 per cent in the last four years.

Rating: This FD scheme has been assigned a FAA+/stable rating by Crisil and an MAA+/stable rating by ICRA.

Issue details: The scheme is open from 1 July 2010 to 31 August 2010. The minimum investment is Rs 25,000. Interest payment options available are quarterly, half-yearly, annual as well as cumulative. The minimum investment period is one year, while the maximum is five years.
