Bengaluru continues to be one of the fast-growing cities in India, with technology hubs, a pleasant climate, green surroundings, and robust connectivity, making it a sought-after destination for homebuyers. The city launched over 12,000 new residential units in the third quarter of 2022. East Bengaluru saw the highest number of new launches, or 50 per cent of the total share, followed by South Bengaluru at 21 per cent. Independent homes and spacious units remain the preferred choice of homebuyers at 33 per cent of online searches. However, 2BHK units were most searched, closely followed by 3BHK. Properties above `1 crore accounted for about 17 per cent of online searches. The Bellandur suburb is the most popular choice among homebuyers. HSR Layout, Whitefield, and Electronic City are also among the favourites.
