The Dani, Choksi and Vakil families rank 10th with Asian Paints, valued at Rs 2,48,200 crore. The company operates across chemicals, industrial products, and financial services.
The Premji family ranks 9th through Wipro, valued at Rs 2,72,300 crore. Its key businesses span software and services, consumer goods, and industrial products.
The Nadar family ranks 8th with HCL Technologies, valued at Rs 2,91,300 crore. The technology major’s primary business is software and services.
The family’s businesses span financial services, industrial products, consumer goods, automobiles and chemicals, with a total business value of Rs 3,06,000 crore.
The Anil Agarwal family ranks 6th with Vedanta, valued at Rs 4,45,500 crore. Its businesses span metals and mining, energy and telecommunications.
The Mahindra family ranks 5th through Mahindra & Mahindra, valued at Rs 5,14,600 crore. Its businesses include automobiles, technology, finance, real estate, and logistics.
