Central government pensioners can now use the face authentication service offered by the Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) to submit their digital life certificates, also known as Jeevan Pramaan.
1. Download Aadhaar Face RD App- One should start by downloading the respective app. This application has been designed to provide support to run the Jeevan Pramaan Application.
After downloading, open the app and "Operator Authentication" page will appear. Then, enter Aadhaar number, mobile number and email address, tick the Aadhaar checkbox followed by a click on 'submit'.
Once details are filled, one receives an OTP on the mobile number and email address that has been registered. Input of right OTP is important to authenticate your contact information.
Once authentication is done, one has to enter the name as per Aadhaar after authentication. It will seek permission to access the camera to scan the face. Accept all the permissions.
After a face scan, one is taken to a new login page for pensioner authentication. Here, details like Aadhaar number, and mobile number are required. This is followed by OTP on mobile again for verification.
Once OTP is provided all details in the form are required to be filled. One must specify the disbursing agency after filling all these fields.
The final step is to carry out the second face scan for pensioners' verification purposes. Once the scan is complete, the submission for a Digital Life Certificate is confirmed on the mobile screen, and one receives the Pramaan ID and the PPO number as an acknowledgement number.
