With access to 183 destinations, Croatia, Latvia, Slovakia, and Slovenia share the ninth position among the world’s most travel-friendly passports.
Canada, the UAE, and Estonia ranked eighth, with access to 184 locations which demonstrates their developing worldwide alliances.
Sharing the seventh rank, Australia, Malta, Poland, Hungary, and Czechia allow visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 185 destinations.
The UK remains at the sixth position, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to 186 countries for its citizens.
Ranked fifth, Greece, New Zealand, and Switzerland enable travel to 187 destinations without advance visa requirements.
With access to 188 destinations, Sweden, Austria, Portugal, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Netherlands share the fourth rank in the 2025 passport strength list.
Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, and Spain hold the third spot, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 189 destinations in the 2025 Henley Passport Index.
Ranked second globally, Japan and South Korea provide access to 190 destinations, maintaining their strong global travel status.
According to the 2025 Henley Passport Index, Singapore has the most visa-free or visa-on-arrival access of any passport, with 193 destinations.
India moved up from 85th to 77th in 2025, with visa-free access to 59 countries which shows consistent progress by adding only two new destinations.
