Kohlmarkt in Vienna, Austria ranks 10th on the global list. It is known for its historic charm and luxury boutiques, attracting affluent locals and tourists. Retail rents are around $601 per sq.ft per year.
Myeongdong in Seoul, South Korea ranks 9th worldwide. It is a buzzing shopping hotspot, especially famous for fashion and cosmetics. Retailers pay nearly $653 per sq.ft annually.
Pitt Street Mall in Sydney, Australia ranks 8th. It is Australia’s busiest retail zone, packed with leading international brands and strong footfall. Rents stand at $795 per sq.ft yearly.
Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich, Switzerland ranks 7th globally. The street features luxury brands and benefits from high local purchasing power. Retail rents reach $1,051 per sq.ft yearly.
Ginza in Tokyo, Japan ranks 6th on the list. It is a major luxury district offering shopping, dining, and entertainment together. Annual rents are around $1,257 per sq.ft.
The Champs-Elysées in Paris, France ranks 5th worldwide. Known for iconic global brands and tourism, it remains a prime retail attraction. Rents are $1,364 per sq.ft per year.
Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong, Great China ranks 4th. It is a key luxury retail hub supported by high tourist spending. Retail rents reach $1,515 per sq.ft yearly.
Upper 5th Avenue in New York City, U.S. ranks 3rd worldwide. It is famous for flagship stores and premium shopping. Annual rents reach $2,000 per sq.ft.
Via Montenapoleone in Milan, Italy ranks 2nd globally. It is a luxury fashion powerhouse and a favorite among high-net-worth shoppers. Retailers pay about $2,179 per sq.ft yearly.
New Bond Street in London,UK ranks 1st as the most expensive retail street in the world. It hosts top fashion houses and wealthy shoppers. Rents rise to $2,231 per sq.ft every year.
According to Cushman & Wakefield’s latest global ranking, Khan Market has slipped one spot to the 23rd position this year. Despite the drop, it continues to hold the title of India’s most expensive retail high street, with annual rents of around $223 per sq.ft.
