The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has released the Global Liveability Index 2025 which lists the top 10 most liveable cities in the word. Here are top 5 cities based on stability, healthcare, cultural environment, education, and infrastructure
Geneva scored 96.8 overall, with perfect 100s in healthcare and education. Strong infrastructure (96.4) and cultural access (94.9) helped it secure the 5th spot.
Melbourne scored 97. It received full marks for healthcare, education, and strong scores in culture (95.8) and infrastructure (96.4), placing it 4th globally.
Tied for 2nd place, Zurich scored 97.1. The Swiss city earned top scores in healthcare, education, and culture (96.3), with slightly lower infrastructure at 96.4
Vienna also scored 97.1, with 100 in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Its slightly lower score in culture (93.5) placed it just behind Copenhagen.
Copenhagen tops the list with a near-perfect score of 98. It received 100 in stability, education, and infrastructure, and led across all five key categories.
