In its latest report, Knight Frank India has revealed the rankings of the eight major Indian cities based on home affordability in the first half of 2025. Here's how the cities stack up in H1 2025:
3. Kolkata stays consistent at 23 per cent.
2. Pune is second, with buyers needing only 22 per cent of their income for home loan repayments.
Ahmedabad: It led the list as India’s most affordable city. Just 18 per cent of a typical household’s income goes into home loan EMIs here.
