HDFC Bank UPI Services To Remain Unavailable On This Date For Maintenance

HDFC Bank has issued a planned system maintenance during which its Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services will be offline. The maintenance is scheduled to take place on the evening of July 3, 2025, at 11:45 PM and go on till 1:15 AM on July 4, 2025, for a total of 90 minutes.

This maintenance is one of the bank's regular activities for making its digital infrastructure more efficient and reliable. HDFC Bank has suggested that customers using its accounts or RuPay credit cards for UPI transactions to schedule their payments in advance so that they may not face any inconvenience.

Services That Will Be Affected

The update will impact UPI transactions done via HDFC Bank's savings and current accounts as well as RuPay credit cards. Besides, customers using the HDFC Mobile Banking app or any third-party UPI apps using their HDFC Bank accounts as their payment service provider might experience some temporary disruption during this time.

Merchants with UPI collections associated with HDFC Bank accounts will be affected too. This can result in a temporary disruption in payment services to business enterprises relying on real-time UPI transactions.

Advice For Customers And Merchants

Customers are requested to finish any urgent transactions prior to the maintenance window. Users of popular UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm with HDFC Bank as the associated account can find their payments failed or delayed during this period.

Individuals with businesses are requested to warn their customers beforehand and maintain alternative payment options to prevent business activity disruption.

Bank Assures Users

HDFC Bank, in its statement, appreciated the patience and cooperation of its customers. The bank explained that the suspension of UPI services temporarily is essential to facilitate continuous upgrading and achieve smoother service in the future.

Only services based on UPI will be affected during the maintenance. All other banking facilities like mobile banking and internet banking, except UPI, will function as usual.
