The subscription window of Ardee Industries’ initial public offering (IPO) closed on August 7, 2026. The metal recycler’s public issue saw strong investor interest during its bidding period across all categories. Following the closure of the bidding window, the share allotment status is scheduled to be finalised on August 10.
The offer includes a combination of a fresh issue of 60.4 million shares aggregating to Rs 320 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 20 million shares aggregating to Rs 105.87 crore, bringing the total issue size to Rs 425.87 crore.
The public issue was subscribed a massive 133.66 times overall by the end of the final day. Investors applied for roughly 78.08 billion shares against the 58.4 million shares set aside for bidders, arriving at by deducting the 24.1 million anchor-allocated shares from the total issue size.
Non-institutional investors (NIIs) emerged as the biggest driver of the issue, booking their quota 255.24 times. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribed to their portion 197.77 times, while the retail investor quota was booked 45.71 times.
Ahead of the share allotment, Ardee Industries shares are being actively tracked in the unlisted market. Investors keep a close watch on the grey market premium (GMP) to gauge the expected listing price. Presently, the GMP is trending with a premium of Rs 16. Based on the upper end of the price band, the stock is likely to list at Rs 69 apiece, representing a strong listing gain of 30.19 per cent.
