Bybit Rolls Out AI Trading Assistant For Crypto Traders In India

Crypto exchange Bybit has launched Bybit AI, a conversational assistant that brings trading, account management and customer support functions into a single interface within its app.

The company said the feature allows users to make requests in natural language, with the AI interpreting those requests and carrying out supported actions. Bybit AI is being rolled out across trading and customer-support functions, the company said in a release.

What Has Bybit Launched?

Bybit AI covers several services available through the exchange, including spot, futures and options (F&O) trading, Bybit Earn, copy trading, trading Bot, loans and P2P transactions. The feature also includes access to Bybit Card, Spot X, Rewards Hub, and notification, and subscription management.

The company said users can submit requests through natural-language prompts instead of navigating separately through different sections of the app. For instance, users can use the interface to check their portfolio balance, place a trade, or submit a customer-support request.

Bybit said the AI assistant interprets the user’s request and carries out supported actions within the chat interface. The company has designed the system to connect different business lines to the same interface, rather than requiring users to access each service separately. Customer support is also integrated into Bybit AI. The company said the AI system will work alongside human customer-service agents for support-related queries.

In the initial rollout, Bybit AI is available across two areas: access to the exchange’s services through the AI assistant, and customer support. The company has also listed trading, account management, and support as the initial areas covered by the feature.

How Will Bybit AI Work

Users who want to use Bybit AI will first need to activate the feature, after which a dedicated Bybit AI sub-account will be created. According to Bybit, this sub-account is isolated from the user’s main balance.

The company said the set-up does not require an application programme interface (API) key or manual configuration. Bybit has also said that its artificial intelligence (AI) system is designed to operate within the dedicated sub-account, while customer-support functions remain connected to human service agents. Bybit has also outlined plans to expand the services available through the interface. According to the company, its roadmap includes connecting trading, Earn, loans, card and customer support through an open API.

The company said the broader plan is to bring these services together through the same interface. The current rollout, however, covers the services and support functions listed by Bybit as part of the initial launch.
