The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has extended the last date for booking flats under the DDA Towering Heights Housing Scheme 2026 at East Delhi Hub in Karkardooma. This has been facilitated to provide potential homebuyers with additional time to secure a spot in this scheme. This extension also ensures a larger group of potential homebuyers get the chance to participate in the scheme and buy a home.

The Housing Coordination Branch of the DDA had issued a circular on June 4, 2026 regarding bookings under the scheme. The circular said that the bookings will remain open until June 30, 2026. This is the second extension after the previous deadline of May 31, 2026. This is aimed at giving prospective buyers and institutional bodies more time to complete the booking process.

The Towering Heights Housing Scheme 2026 is offered on a first come first serve (FCFS) basis. The scheme was launched on January 3, 2026 and bookings began on January 23. Initially, the booking window was scheduled until March 31, 2026 and later extended to May 31. With the latest circular, applicants now have an additional month to secure a flat in the residential units being offered.

In the circular, DDA said that the extension is intended to benefit individual homebuyers as well as agencies interested in bulk purchases of the available flats. The authority has said that the additional booking period is aimed at helping interested applicants who may have not been able to complete the formalities within the earlier timelines.

The project is part of DDA’s efforts to enhance housing availability in east Delhi and strengthen residential segments in the region. The scheme has attracted attention from buyers who are opting for planned housing developments with modern amenities as well as good connectivity to the expanded Delhi-National Capital Region (Delhi-NCR).

The circular added: “Prospective applicants are advised to take note of the extension and complete the booking of flats at the earliest to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.”

This latest extension is likely to trigger a fresh wave of interest from buyers seeking residential options in Delhi, especially from homebuyers seeking government-backed housing projects in such urban locations across the capital.
