Precision engineering components manufacturer Indo-MIM's public issue opened for subscription on July 23. The company’s initial public offering (IPO) is scheduled to close for subscription on July 27. Here are the key details applicants should know before applying for the Indo-MIM IPO:

Indo-MIM IPO Subscription

The public issue of Indo-MIM opened today, offering a total issue size of 78.6 million shares. Out of this, the company has set aside 35 per cent of the net offer for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs), 15 per cent for Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs), and 50 per cent for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs).

Indo-MIM's IPO was subscribed 80 per cent at the time of writing on the first day of subscription, as investors placed bids for 43.98 million shares against the 55.09 million shares on net offer. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) led the subscription, booking their quota 2.09 times by bidding for 24.56 million shares compared to the 11.76 million shares reserved for the category. The employee portion was subscribed 1.18 times as employees bid for 2,36,040 shares compared to the 2,00,000 shares set aside for the category. Retail investors subscribed to their quota of 70 per cent as they applied for 19.16 million shares compared to the 27.44 million shares reserved for the category. The company has set aside 15.68 million shares for the Qualified Institutional Buyer (QIB) category, so far QIBs have bid for 26,640 shares.

Indo-MIM IPO GMP

Indo-MIM’s unlisted shares are currently commanding a strong Grey Market Premium (GMP) of around Rs 192 per share, according to multiple platforms tracking the demand for unlisted shares. Based on the upper price band of Rs 485 and a GMP of Rs 192, shares of Indo-MIM are likely to make a market debut at Rs 670 apiece, indicating estimated listing gains of around 39.59 per cent.

Indo-MIM IPO Offer Size, Listing Date, Price Band

The Indo-MIM IPO issue size aggregates to Rs 3,811.21 crore. Indo-MIM's issue is a combination of a fresh issue of 10.3 million shares aimed at raising Rs 499.10 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 68.3 million shares worth Rs 3,311.21 crore.The price band for the IPO has been fixed at Rs 461 to Rs 485 per share.

Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) can apply for the public issue by placing bids for a minimum of 30 shares (1 lot), which aggregates to an investment of Rs 14,550 at the upper price band.The company is expected to finalise the share allotment status on July 28. Successful applicants will receive shares in their demat accounts on July 29. Shares of Indo-MIM will be listed on both the BSE and NSE, with a tentative listing date of July 30.

Indo-MIM: Key Financials

Indo-MIM’s total income for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, stood at Rs 4,320.70 crore, representing a 28.1 per cent increase compared to Rs 3,373.97 crore in FY25. The company’s profit-after-tax (PAT) also increased by 25.9 per cent to Rs 533.54 crore in FY26 compared to Rs 423.73 crore in the previous year.

Indo-MIM: Selling Shareholders

As a part of the OFS, selling shareholders will dilute their stake. Anuradha Koduri will sell 54.59 lakh shares, while Green Meadows Investment and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras will offload 6.05 crore and 23.07 lakh shares, respectively.

Indo-MIM IPO: Objective

The company plans to utilise Rs 400 crore from the net proceeds of the fresh issue for the repayment or prepayment of outstanding borrowings. The remaining funds will be directed towards general corporate purposes. The entire proceeds from the OFS portion will go to the selling shareholders.
