Sensex, Nifty Today: Domestic equities rebounded on March 25, extending gains for the second consecutive day as concerns over West Asia conflict eased after US President Donald Trump said that progress is being made towards ending the war.

The BSE Sensex started with a big gap-up, and surged as much as 1,222.35 points, or 1.65 per cent to touch its intraday high of 75,290.80. Similarly, the NSE Nifty 50 began the session with a huge gap-up, and zoomed up to 392.30 points, or 1.71 per cent, to hit the day's high of 23,304.70.
