Shah Investor's Home shares made a muted debut on the stock exchanges on Tuesday, October 6, with the stock listing above its initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 167.

On the NSE, Shah Investor's Home shares listed at Rs 168.50, gaining Rs 1.50, or 0.90 per cent, over the issue price. On the BSE, the stock debuted at Rs 171, up Rs 4, or 2.40 per cent.

The stock's listing was below the level indicated by the grey market. The IPO's last recorded grey market premium (GMP), ahead of the listing, stood at Rs 17, which implied an estimated listing price of Rs 184 against the issue price of Rs 167.

The Rs 90.17 crore Shah Investor's Home IPO was open for subscription from September 28 to September 30. The issue comprised an entirely fresh issue of 5.40 million shares worth Rs 90.17 crore. It had a lot size of 85 shares, and retail investors were required to invest at least Rs 14,195.

Beeline Capital Advisors is the book running lead manager for the issue, while MUFG Intime India is the registrar.

At the IPO price, Shah Investor's Home had a market capitalisation of around Rs 353.26 crore. Following the listing, the company's market capitalisation stood at around Rs 361.72 crore.

Shah Investor's Home IPO Subscription Details

The IPO received a strong response from investors and was subscribed 38.12 times overall. The qualified institutional buyers' (QIB) portion was subscribed 28.05 times, while the non-institutional investor (NII) category was subscribed 95.54 times. The retail portion was subscribed 19.26 times.

The IPO received bids for 144.06 million shares against 3.78 million shares offered to public investors. The issue attracted 4,19,543 applications.

What Does Shah Investor's Home Do

Shah Investor's Home, incorporated in October 1994, is a retail broking company providing a range of financial services. The company primarily offers equity and derivatives brokerage services, facilitating the buying and selling of equities, IPOs and other securities for retail customers, including resident and non-resident Indians.

In addition to its brokerage operations, the company provides mutual fund distribution, margin funding, and stock lending and borrowing (SLB) services under the brand name "Shah Investors".

As of March 31, 2026, the company had served more than 1 lakh demat accounts, with over 38,000 active clients and a network of more than 181 authorised persons.

The company operates through 11 branches across Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Junagadh, Gandhinagar and Rajkot. Its branch and authorised-person network primarily serves customers across Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Shah Investor's Home started operations as a Trading Member of the National Stock Exchange of India in 1995 and registered as a Depository Participant with National Securities Depository (NSDL) in 1997.

The company has also expanded its technology offerings. It launched its digital app-based platform "SIHL Moneymaker" in 2023 and had more than 12,452 active registered users as of March 31, 2026.

Shah Investor's Home Financials

The company's total income fell 23.4 per cent to Rs 72.40 crore in fiscal 2026 from Rs 94.47 crore in fiscal 2025. Profit after tax (PAT) declined 44 per cent to Rs 13.11 crore from Rs 23.42 crore during the same period.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) fell 38.8 per cent to Rs 21.62 crore in fiscal 2026 from Rs 35.31 crore a year earlier.

The company's assets remained largely stable at Rs 304.44 crore in fiscal 2026 compared with Rs 302.57 crore in fiscal 2025. Net worth increased 6.9 per cent to Rs 179.71 crore from Rs 168.09 crore. However, total borrowings rose sharply to Rs 18.47 crore in fiscal 2026 from Rs 5.71 crore in fiscal 2025. Reserves and surplus increased to Rs 163.95 crore in fiscal 2026 from Rs 152.34 crore a year earlier.

Shah Investor's Home IPO Objectives

Shah Investor's Home plans to use Rs 60 crore from the IPO proceeds to fund its working capital requirements.

The company has earmarked another Rs 18.56 crore for general corporate purposes, while Rs 11.61 crore will be used to meet issue expenses.
