At around 7:45 AM, GIFT Nifty was trading about 110 points, or 0.46 per cent, higher at 24,104.50, indicating a stronger opening for the Nifty 50.
The upbeat indication follows Thursday's recovery on Dalal Street, when benchmark indices bounced back after the previous session's decline. The Sensex settled 238.20 points, or 0.31 per cent, higher at 76,741.80, while the Nifty 50 gained 80.80 points, or 0.34 per cent, to close at 23,962.80.
