Stock Market Today: Domestic equities opened decisively higher on August 26 as lower crude oil prices and a decline in bond yields improved investor sentiment. Gains on Wall Street and a positive trend in Asian markets supported Indian equities in early trade.

The BSE Sensex opened at 77,892.10, gaining 236.01 points, or 0.30 per cent. The Nifty 50, meanwhile, was largely flat at 24,341.95, up 7.40 points, or 0.03 per cent.
