Stock Market News: Sensex Adds Over 100 Points, Nifty Reclaims 25,000 Mark As Benchmark Indices Rally

Stock Market News: Sensex, Nifty continued to rally for the seventh straight day on September 11. The 30-share Sensex ended with gains of 123.58 points or 0.15 per cent at 81,548.73. The Nifty 50 index finished the session at 25,005.50 with an addition of 32.40 points or 0.13 per cent.

Top Gainers And Losers On September 11

As many as 24 out of the 50 constituents of the Nifty 50 finished the session in the green, 26 stocks ended the session lower. Shares of Adani Enterprises Ltd emerged as the top gainer and closed higher by 2.9 per cent at Rs 2,408 apiece. Other major stocks that emerged as top gainers included Shriram Finance, NTPC Ltd, and Axis Bank, finishing the session higher by as much as 2.55 per cent on the NSE. On the other hand, shares of Bajaj-Auto, Infosys, Eicher Motors and Titan Ltd led the losers, finishing the session lower by as much as 1.35 per cent.

Nifty Oil & Gas and Nifty Pharma Surge

The Nifty Pharma index and the Nifty Oil & Gas index finished the session higher by 0.46 per cent and 1.1 per cent respectively. On the other hand indices such as the Nifty Auto and the Nifty IT led the losers ending the session lower by 0.33 per cent and 0.5 per cent respectively. The broader market indices finished the session flat, the Nifty MidCap 100 index finished with marginal gains of 0.08 per cent.

Global Markets

On September 10, Wall Street indices such as the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closed higher by 0.3 per cent, 0.03 per cent respectively. On the other hand, the Dow Jones Index ended the session lower by 0.48 per cent. In the Asian market several indices finished the session with gains, the Nikkei 225 finished the session higher with gains of 1.02 per cent and the KOSPI ended the session higher by 0.89 per cent and the Shanghai Composite finished the session higher by 1.63 per cent. Amid the gains, the Hang Seng finished the session lower by 0.29 per cent.

Primary Market Action

The public issues of Airfloa Rail Technology IPO opened for subscription today. On the other hand, the Krupalu Metals IPO, Nilachal Carbo Metalicks IPO, Karbonsteel Engineering IPO and Taurian MPS IPO closed for subscription today.

Market Outlook

Developments related to the India-US trade deal are expected to impact D-Street. Other factors expected to impact trade include the announcement of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for August 2025 in the upcoming days.
