An MBA graduate’s social media post has circulated online after she said she spent on relocating to Delhi for a job offer and later found no office at the provided address.

An MBA graduate from the 2026 batch of IIM Bodh Gaya shared her experience on LinkedIn, alleging that she had to relocate to Delhi based on a confirmed job offer. The claims were made in a personal post that later circulated widely online.

No Office at Job Location, Says MBA Graduate

According to the graduate, she believed she had secured employment after receiving an offer letter and joining date, which prompted her to move cities and incur significant expenses. She said she spent around Rs 75,000 on relocation, trusting that the job would begin as scheduled. A screenshot of her post went viral on X, as the original LinkedIn post seems to have been deleted. The claims made in the post could not be independently verified.

Describing the situation, she wrote that upon reaching the given office address on May 4, she found that there was no office. Repeated attempts to contact the concerned officials went unanswered.

In her post, she stated, “I waited two hours. I called. I messaged. No answer.” She added that she was later informed the office space was out of lease, a detail not communicated earlier.

She further said she was given repeated assurances regarding onboarding, including claims such as “Employee ID is being generated” and that work-from-home arrangements would begin on May 11. However, the joining was eventually postponed to July.

Blocked by the CEO After Compensation Request

The girl further noted that Rs 75,000 does not disappear because the job did, calling it a question of accountability.

She also alleged that when she sought relocation compensation that had reportedly been promised, the CEO blocked her across all communication channels. There was no response to calls, messages, or email, adding that there was complete silence.

She added that had she been informed earlier, she would not have incurred the relocation expenses, saying, “One honest conversation would have changed everything.” She is now back to searching for new opportunities and remains hopeful about moving forward.
