The M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025 provides an overview of India's wealth landscape, including 91 cities and individuals worth Rs 1,000 crore or more. Mumbai remains the largest center, with 451 entrants in 2024–25 that marks an increase of 65 from 2021. The city is home to 91 billionaires, with Mukesh Ambani and his family among the wealthiest, which shows its continuous role as India's financial hub and a centre of industrial and entrepreneurial success.

New Delhi ranks second, with 223 affluent individuals, an increase of six from 2021 and 70 billionaires, dominated by Roshni Nadar Malhotra and her family.

Bengaluru has grown significantly in recent years and is currently home to 116 wealthy residents and 31 billionaires, with Azim Premji and family as the city's wealthiest individual. The city's rise reflects its position as India's technology and innovation centre. While Hyderabad is somewhat down from last year, it has 102 wealthy individuals and 19 billionaires, with Murali Divi and his family being the city's wealthiest. The city continues to benefit from its pharmaceutical, biotech, and IT sectors.

Chennai also shows robust growth, with 94 entrants and 22 billionaires, headed by Venu Srinivasan. Ahmedabad and Kolkata each have 68 wealthy persons, with 16 and 11 billionaires, respectively, topped by Gautam Adani and Sanjiv Goenka. Pune has grown to 66 entrants, including 12 billionaires, with Cyrus Poonawalla and family among the city's richest individuals.

Cities like Gurugram host 38 high-net-worth individuals, including 4 billionaires, with Nirmal Kumar Minda as the city's wealthiest, whereas Surat is home to 32 wealthy individuals that includes 2 billionaires and led by Farukbhai Gulambhai Patel.
