Ladli Behna Yojana: 30th Instalment Released, How To Check The Status

The Madhya Pradesh government has recently released the 30th monthly instalment of the Ladli Behna Yojana (LBY). This welfare programme is aimed at empowering women across the state. This month's instalment is significantly important because it comes with an enhanced benefit of Rs 1,500 against the previous instalment of Rs 1,250 for every eligible receiver.

This revised assistance has been given to more than 12.60 million registered women, which makes this policy one of the most extensive benefit transfer schemes in India.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched the disbursal ceremony in the Seoni district and the funds were directly transferred into the beneficiaries' bank accounts. According to official figures, Seoni district alone has 268,000 beneficiaries.

This hike in entitlement was introduced during Bhai Dooj, when the CM had pledged to enhance the monthly assistance to Rs 1,500. This move is aimed at improving women's economic independence. This was met with widespread appreciation. The total expenditure under the Ladli Behna Yojana has now crossed Rs 44,000 crore since it was first launched.

How To Check If The Amount Is Credited

The beneficiaries can verify the status of the amount if it has been credited into their accounts by visiting the official portal of Ladli Behna Yojana.

After selecting the Application and Payment section, beneficiaries can enter their registration numbers, further authenticating them with an OTP. Then, they can instantly view the payment status and details. This tracking system has improved transparency and dependency.
