Mukhyamantri Udyami Yuva Yojana: A Scheme That Gives Rs 70,000 Monthly Salary - Know Eligibility, Application Process and More

Uttar Pradesh Department of Industrial Development & Infrastructure offers various employment opportunities to the youth as well as the elderly, women, widows, etc., through public welfare schemes. These schemes are initiated with the objective of providing guaranteed work at a minimum to manageable salary to people residing in rural areas, educated individuals and people across different classes. One such scheme has been introduced recently in 2023 named Mukhyamantri Udyami Yuva Yojana also known as Mukyamantri Udyam Mitra Yojana.

The said scheme is planned with the objective of providing employment to the youth residing in Uttar Pradesh. The employees appointed are called Mitra, there are total of 105 Mitras who will be chosen for the employment opportunity under this scheme and will be given a remuneration of Rs. 70,000 monthly.

What Are The Benefits?

The scheme is designed to provide more employment opportunities and resolve the persisting problem of unemployment in the country. The appointed employees will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 70, 000 and the working tenure is guaranteed to last for a whole year. The Mitras will be deployed at the district level from the Industrial Development Authority and Invest UP Headquarters. The Mitras employed under the scheme will have to arrange a project site visit for the investors. The core target of the scheme is to resolve the problem of educated unemployment in the country. The scheme will also uplift the economic condition of the youth appointed while providing them with actual professional working experience preparing for better and higher paying job-opportunities.

Who Is Eligible?

The scheme defines the eligible youth as a native of Uttar Pradesh who has computer skills and must be able to communicate in Hindi and English both. The applicant must possess a postgraduate degree with 60 per cent marks in it. As the scheme is made for the educated unemployed youth, the targeted beneficiaries are those who have knowledge and degrees but no work experience. For these educated youth, it is a great way to start their career as it provides job safety for a year.
