The campaign will run from September 17, 2025, to October 2, 2025. Healthcare camps will be organised across the country at 75,000 healthcare centres, including Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), and other healthcare facilities.

Nadda wrote, “These camps will provide essential services specifically designed to address the healthcare needs of women and children, supporting the government’s vision of inclusive healthcare. In addition, Poshan Maah will be observed at all Anganwadis to promote nutrition, health awareness, and overall well-being.

Poshan Maah

Poshan Maah is another campaign that is run every year in September across Anganwadis as part of the Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyaan (National Nutrition Mission). This month-long campaign started in 2018, and this is its 8th year. This is focused on improving nutritional outcomes in children under six years, lactating mothers, and pregnant women. The idea is to address malnutrition among children and prevent anemia by mobilising communities, running awareness programmes, monitoring children’s growth through nutrition trackers, and other measures.

Notably, the Women and Child Development Ministry observed a Poshan Pakhwada also this year from April 8 to April 22, 2025. That was also about increasing awareness about nutritious food and empowering communities.

In his post, Nadda appealed to the private hospitals and other stakeholders in the healthcare sector to be involved in the campaign and become part of this “Jan Bhagidaari Abhgiyaan”.

He said, “Together, these measures aim to build healthier families and empowered communities across the country.”

As of July 15, 2025, there were a total of 1,78,154 operational Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (erstwhile Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres). These healthcare centres provide comprehensive healthcare, starting from promotive and preventive healthcare to treatment of illnesses. Similarly, CHCs provide the outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) services, diagnostic services, emergency care, and general medicine to the patients.
