With the US imposing a 54 per cent tariff on Chinese imports the video shows how Apple is shifting more iPhone production to India to manage rising costs and reduce reliance on China. The IT company's production expenses will increase due to a significant portion of its manufacturing is located in China.

Due of decreasing import taxes in India, the business has increased iPhone production and exports. The global structure of iPhone production and supply is altering due to this change.

The US government promotes more domestic manufacturing but experts say this might significantly raise production costs amid the US's inadequate infrastructure, the video noted. To mitigate the impact, Apple is increasingly turning to India which currently accounts for 10 to 15 per cent of global iPhone assembly.

The number is predicted to climb to 20 per cent by 2025, boosted by government incentives and lower import levies on essential components. This demonstrates India's growing importance in Apple's worldwide supply strategy.
