Can the cash kept at home be covered under the Householder’s Insurance Policy?

It is heartening to note your interest in the householder’s insurance. However, this insurance does not provide coverage for cash kept at home. The reason for not providing the coverage is that a household is not expected to maintain proper cash records as is the case with commercial establishments such as shops and businesses. Therefore, in the event of a claim it becomes extremely difficult to prove the existence of cash at home. Due to this reason no householder’s policy provides for coverage of cash.
