Crypto Market Gains Marginally Even As Trading Volume Dips 7.04%

The global crypto market gained marginally on Friday. The total market cap was up by 0.89 per cent to $1.44 trillion even as the total trading volume was down by 7.04 per cent to $44.95 billion.

Terra Classic LUNC was the most trending cryptocurrency, down by 2.12 per cent to $0.0001196. Its 24-hour trading volume was $119.09 million. Celestia TIA was the top gainer, up by 12.83 per cent to $6.95. Its 24-hour trading volume was $162.80 million. IOTA IOTA was the loser, down by 4.52 per cent to $0.2371. Its 24-hour trading volume was $323.33 million.

DeFi fell 11.54 per cent to $5.19 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was up by 0.50 per cent to $38,185.08. Its 24-hour trading volume was $19.57 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 51.83 per cent, down by 0.26 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was up 2.89 per cent to $2,095.74 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $9.23 billion.

Tether: Tether was trading at $1, same as yesterday. Its 24-hour trading volume was $31.19 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was up by 0.39 per cent to $60.71. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.32 billion.

Avalanche was trading at $22.45, up by 5.62 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $484.96 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 0.09 per cent to $0.3801 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $275.33 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 3.18 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.08416.

Shiba Inu was up by 1.16 per cent to $0.000008346.

DeFi coin was trading at $0.04604, same as yesterday.
