Crypto Market Rises, Trading Volume Gains 23%; Bitcoin, Ethereum Down

The global crypto market gained marginally on Monday. The total market cap was up by 1.35 per cent to $3.45 trillion, while the total trading volume was up by 23.34 per cent to $189.36 billion.

XRP XRP was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 31.19 per cent to $2.45. Its 24-hour trading volume was 28.08 billion. Hedera HBAR was the top gainer. It was up by 42.44 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.56 billion. Core CORE was the top loser. It was down by 9.92 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $188.22 million.

DeFi was up by 2.00 per cent to $12.48 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Sathvik Vishwanath, Co-Founder & CEO, Unocoin said, "Bitcoin's recent move towards $100,000 has boosted altcoins such as SHIB, FIL, MNT and AAVE. Bitcoin's strength with an uptrend and RSI in positive territory suggests that a break above $100,000 could lead to $113,000 or $125,000. However, a drop below $90,000 may trigger profit taking. Shiba Inu (SHIB) breached $0.000030 and completed a bullish head and shoulders inversion pattern. If it holds above this level, SHIB could target $0.000039, then $0.000047. Failure to hold above $0.000030 would mean a bull trap that would pull the price back to the 20-day EMA at $0.000025."

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 0.02 per cent to $96,442.94. Its 24-hour trading volume was $42.18 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 59.5 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 0.40 per cent to $3,677.74 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $30.83 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1.00 It was up by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $152.14 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was down by 3.23 per cent to $228.64. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.7 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $47.64, up by 7.70 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.4 billion.

Cardano ADA was up by 9.42 per cent to $1.15 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.21 billion.

Dogecoin DOGE was up by 2.50 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.4382.

Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 2.94 per cent to $0.00002994.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.03317, down by 14.06 per cent.

Yearn Finance YFI was up by 3.16 per cent to $8,187.24 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $41.62 million.
