The fund manager’s discretion, the Chief Investment Officer (CIO)’s philosophy and organisational principle are the three pillars behind a well-performing mutual fund scheme.

On the advent of our 20th Anniversary, we at Outlook Money decided to honour the 20  top minds behind a few prolific funds. hen we say 20 top performers, there is no ranking but all are winners in their respective domain. The final discretion in this category was with the appointed jury. W

Criteria of Selection: Stellar returns of schemes managed by the manager over five years + One-year return + Size of the fund managed + Best schemes in their categories + Innovation

Disclaimer

The fund managers have been selected based on the scheme(s) they manage.  The parameter used to rank them was; the returns they were able to generate from the investments they made in the past five years. The Jury decided to mention CIOs along with the fund managers, as they found their contributions to be valuable in generating returns. As a result, the name of CIOs and Fund Managers has been repeated.
