The GMP for the AMC’s shares ranged between Rs 300 per share and Rs 336 per share as per several websites which track trends in the demand for shares of unlisted companies. ICICI Prudential AMC shares are expected to list with gains of 15.52 per cent at Rs 2501 per share.

ICICI Prudential AMC IPO Subscription On Day 3

On the third day of subscription, the ICICI Prudential AMC IPO has been subscribed 4.06 times so far. Across investor categories, the issue received bids for 142.30 million shares compared to the 35.01 million shares offered for subscription.

On all three days of subscription, the non-institutional investor (NII) category led the demand for the company’s shares. NIIs booked their quota in the public issue 9.03 times as they bid for 63.02 million shares compared to the 6.97 million shares reserved for them.

ICICI Prudential AMC IPO has been booked 1.23 times by retail individual investors (RIIs) so far. RIIs applied for 19.99 million shares against the 16.28 million shares set aside for retail investors.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) booked their quota in the public issue 5.12 times. QIBs applied for 47.64 million shares compared to the 9.30 million shares set aside for the category.

Shareholders of the asset management company booked their quota in the public issue 4.75 times by placing bids for 11.63 million shares compared to the 2.44 million shares reserved for the category.

ICICI Prudential AMC seeks to raise Rs 10,602.65 crore from its public issue. The AMC’s issue size consists of an offer-for-sale of 49 million shares. Notably, the ICICI Prudential AMC IPO is the fourth-largest public issue to have opened in 2025.

ICICI Prudential AMC IPO price band was set at Rs 2,061 and Rs 2,165 per share. The minimum lot size for retail individual investors was fixed at 6 shares, which aggregates to an investment of Rs 12,990.

ICICI Prudential AMC IPO subscription window opened on December 12 and closed on December 16. The basis of allotment for the ICICI Prudential AMC IPO will be announced on December 17. ICICI Prudential AMC’s total income for the period ended September 30, 2025, stood at Rs 2,949.61 crore. The AMC’s net profit and net worth for the same period were Rs 1,617.74 crore and Rs 3,921.56 crore, respectively.

In FY25, the AMC posted a total income of Rs 4,979.67, increasing over 32 per cent from Rs 3761.21 crore in the preceding fiscal. The company’s net profit for FY25 stood at Rs 2650.66 crore, increasing by over 29 per cent from Rs 2049.73 crore in the preceding fiscal. The net worth of the company increased by more than 21 per cent to Rs 3516.94 crore in FY25 compared to Rs 2882.84 crore in FY24.

ICICI Prudential AMC: Promoters

The promoters of the AMC include ICICI Bank and Prudential Corporation Holdings. Prior to the issue, the two promoters held a 100 per cent stake in the AMC; post the issue, their shareholding will reduce to 90.09 per cent.
