ICICI Prudential AMC IPO Listing Price: ICICI Prudential AMC shares listed on the NSE and BSE on  December 19. Shares of the asset management company made a strong debut on the exchanges. ICICI Prudential AMC shares listed with over 20 per cent premium compared to the issue price.

ICICI Prudential AMC shares made their debut at Rs 2600 per share with gains of 20.09 per cent against the issue price of Rs 2165 per share on the NSE. ICICI Prudential AMC shares listed at Rs 2606.2 apiece on the BSE with a premium of 20.37 per cent.

Retail investors who were allotted a minimum of one lot or 6 shares would have gained at least Rs 2,646 (Rs 2606 - Rs 2165. x 6). As many as 4.55 lakh shares of ICICI Prudential AMC changed hands on the BSE and the total market capitalisation of the company stood at Rs 1,28,813.66 crore.

ICICI Prudential AMC raised Rs 10,602.65 crore through its public issue. The asset management company’s public issue consisted of a pure offer-for-sale of 49 million shares. The public issue is the fourth most subscribed public issue in India and the second most subscribed public issue in 2025.

The minimum lot size for application for retail investors was fixed at 1 lot comprising 6 shares, which aggregated to an investment of Rs 12,990. ICICI Prudential AMC IPO saw strong demand in its three-day subscription window. ICICI Prudential AMC IPO was subscribed 39.17 times across categories. As many as 1371.39 million shares of ICICI Prudential AMC were bid for against the 35.01 million shares offered for subscription.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the demand for the asset management company’s shares. QIBs booked the issue 123.87 times, retail investors subscribed their quota 2.53 times and shareholders of the company booked their portion 9.75 times and non-institutional investors subscribed their quota 22.4 times.

ICICI Prudential AMC IPO: Objective

ICICI Prudential AMC plans to achieve the benefits of listing its equity shares on the NSE and BSE. The proceeds of the public issue will go to the promoters ICICI Bank and Prudential Corporation Holdings.

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) is one of India's largest investment managers. The AMC operates as a joint venture between ICICI Bank and Prudential Plc (UK). The company’s business model is fee-based and its main business involves pooling money from investors to invest across asset classes like stocks, bonds to generate returns. The company offers services related to mutual funds, portfolio management services (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and offshore advisory. The company primarily generates revenue via management fees.

ICICI Prudential AMC: Peers

Post the listing of its shares on the NSE and BSE in December 2025, ICICI Prudential AMC has joined other listed peers such as  HDFC Asset Management Company, Nippon Life India Asset Management, UTI Asset Management Company and Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC.

At the time of writing shares of ICICI Prudential AMC traded at Rs 2,650.2 apiece on the NSE, up by 1.97 per cent compared to the listing price. ICICI Prudential AMC share price was around Rs 2646.9 apiece on the BSE, up by 1.56 per cent compared to the listing price.
