A host of global cues are likely to impact the trade on November 10, including the latest bipartisan agreement reached by US Senators which could lead to the end of US government shutdown.

Earlier on November 7, domestic equities closed flat after a volatile session. At close, the Sensex was down 94.73 points or 0.11 percent at 83,216.28, and the Nifty was down 17.40 points or 0.07 percent at 25,492.30.

Here are some global cues traders will keep a track today:

US Govt Shutdown Likely To End Soon

US senators reached a bipartisan agreement on November 9, 2025, to restore federal funding and end the record 40-day government shutdown that had halted many government operations, US media reported.

Post the development, US stock futures rose early on November 10. The S&P 500 futures gained 0.6 per cent, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures added 0.2 per cent, and Nasdaq-100 futures rose 1 per cent.

China Inflation Rises

China’s consumer price index (CPI)-based inflation in October rose 0.2 per cent year-on-year, according to the country’s National Bureau of Statistics. This is the first positive reading since June and the highest level since January. On a monthly basis, CPI also increased 0.2 per cent.

Asian Stock Market

Asian stocks traded largely higher in early trade on November 10. Japan's Nikkei 225 was up nearly 1 per cent, while South Korea's Kospi surged over 2.77 per cent. The Hong Kong-based Hang Seng traded 0.60 per cent higher, while China's CSI 100 was down 0.25 per cent.

US Stock Market

In the US, major indices ended mixed overnight. The Dow Jones rose 0.16 per cent, the S&P 500 gained 0.13 per cent, while the Nasdaq Composite slipped 0.21 per cent.

Crude Oil Prices

Crude oil prices traded higher amid concerns over supply and the impact of US sanctions on Russia. Brent crude rose 0.24 per cent to $63.78 a barrel, while WTI crude gained 0.30 per cent to $59.93.

Gold Prices Today

Gold prices jumped in early trade on November 10. Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) traded at Rs 1,22,434 per 10 grams, up 1.13 per cent. In international markets, gold futures traded 1.28 per cent higher at $4,060.40 per ounce.

US Dollar Index

The US dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major currencies, rose 0.2 per cent to 99.74 on November 10.
