Voltas Share Price Surges Nearly 4 Per Cent Post Q4FY25 Results

Voltas Share Price: Shares of Voltas Ltd surged nearly 4 per cent to trade at an intraday high of Rs 1,288 apiece on the NSE on May 8. The stock gained after the company posted double-digit top-line and bottom-line growth in the quarter and fiscal ended March 31, 2025.

Voltas Q4 Results

Voltas Ltd announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal FY 2024-25 (FY25) on May 7. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations for the March quarter of FY25 grew by over 13 per cent to Rs 4,767.56 crore compared to Rs 4,202.88 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal. Sequentially, the company’s revenue from operations surged over 53 per cent from Rs 3,105.11 crore in the December quarter of FY25.

In FY25 the company’s revenue from operations increased by over 23 per cent to Rs 15,412.79 crore compared to Rs 12,481.21 crore in the preceding fiscal.

Voltas’ consolidated profit-after-tax surged for the March quarter of FY25 and grew by more than 113 per cent to Rs 235.69 crore compared to Rs 110.64 crore in the March quarter of FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter basis the company’s profit-after-tax increased by over 80 per cent from Rs 130.76 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2024.

The company’s profit-after-tax for the full fiscal FY 2024-25 rose by more than 236 per cent to Rs 834.28 crore from Rs 248.11 crore in FY 2023.

Voltas Dividend

Home appliance maker, Voltas announced a dividend of Rs 7 per share for the year 2024-25 at the company’s board meeting on May 7. While the board of directors of the company have recommended the payment of dividend it is still subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company. If the shareholders of the company approve the dividend, it will be paid on or after the fifth day from the conclusion of Voltas’ 71st Annual General Meeting.

“The Directors have recommended a Dividend of Rs. 7 per share on the face value of Re. 1 per share (700%) for the year 2024-25, which shall be paid/dispatched on or after the fifth day from the conclusion of ensuing 71st Annual General Meeting, subject to the approval of shareholders of the Company,” Voltas said in a filing.

In a year, shares of the Tata Group company have declined over three per cent on the NSE. On a year-to-date basis Voltas shares have fallen over 30 per cent. In six months shares of the company have slipped nearly seven per cent. In five days, the stock has traded higher by nearly 1 per cent.

At the time of writing shares of Voltas Ltd traded at Rs 1,249.1 apiece up by 0.41 per cent on the NSE.
