The subscription window of Milky Mist Dairy Food’s initial public offering (IPO) closed on August 13, 2026. The issue saw active investor participation on the final day of subscription, as demand for the packaged food company’s shares remained robust. On the final day of bidding, the IPO was oversubscribed 55.70 times, according to the latest market data. The issue received bids for 4.55 billion shares across categories compared to the net offer size of 81.79 million shares set aside for the public. Notably, the net offer size is calculated by deducting the 33.20 million shares already allotted to anchor investors.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) applied for 3.63 billion shares compared to the 23.30 million shares set aside for the category, subscribing their quota 155.83 times. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) booked their quota 34.66 times, applying for 606.30 million shares compared to the 17.49 million shares on offer.

Retail individual investors (RIIs) booked their quota 7.67 times, applying for 313.09 million shares against the 40.81 million shares set aside for them. Employees of the company booked their quota 11.69 times by applying for 1.94 million shares compared to the 166,666 shares set aside for them.

The price band has been set between Rs 133 and Rs 140 per share. The minimum lot size for RIIs is 107 shares, which amounts to a minimum investment of Rs 14,980. The issue also includes an employee discount of Rs 13 per share.

The subscription window opened on August 11 and closed on August 13. The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on August 14. The company will issue refunds to unsuccessful bidders and credit shares to the demat accounts of successful bidders on August 17. The shares are tentatively scheduled to list on both the NSE and the BSE on August 18.

The company posted a total income of Rs 3,145.01 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, indicating an increase of 34 per cent compared to Rs 2,354.79 crore in the preceding fiscal. In the 12-month period, the company’s net profit-after-tax (PAT) stood at Rs 127.01 crore, up by 176 per cent compared to Rs 46.07 crore in the preceding fiscal. The net worth of the company grew to Rs 378 crore, up by 55.70 per cent compared to Rs 242.77 crore in the previous year.
