Shares of Vishal Nirmiti made their debut in the stock market on October 8, 2026, with a discount of roughly 2 per cent below the upper end of the price band.
On the BSE and NSE the shares listed at Rs 215 per share, reflecting a discount of 2.27 per cent below the upper end of the price band of Rs 220.
Applicants who were successfully allotted a minimum of one lot or 68 shares would have made a loss of around Rs 340 [(Rs 220 - Rs 215) x 68] after the stock listed on the exchanges. The company's market capitalisation stood at an estimated Rs 567.40 crore following the strong listing. As many as 43,000 shares of the company changed hands after the stock listed.
The initial public offering (IPO) of Vishal Nirmiti was a book-built issue worth Rs 178 crore and consisted of a fresh issue of 6.59 million shares aggregating to Rs 145 crore and an offer for sale of 1.5 million shares aggregating to Rs 33 crore. The price band for the public issue was fixed at Rs 208 to Rs 220 per share. The minimum lot size for retail investors was fixed at 68 shares, aggregating to an investment of Rs 14,960.
Vishal Nirmiti's public issue was subscribed 1.71 times during its subscription period from September 30 to October 5, 2026, investors across categories placed bids for 14.44 million shares compared to the net offer size of 8.47 million shares available.
Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) booked their quota 1.27 times. Non-institutional investors (NIIs) booked their quota 1.81 times. The retail individual investor quota was subscribed 1.67 times.
The promoters of the company, Brij B Tapadiya, Ajay Bhagwandas Tapadiya, Pavan Vithaldas Tapadiya, Akhil Ranchod Tapadiya, Naveen Tapadiya, Rajendrakumar Badrinarayan Tapadiya, Suyash Vithaldas Tapadiya, Vedant Tapadiya and Keshav Tapadiya, diluted a portion of their stakes through the offer for sale component of the public issue. Following the listing of the stock, the promoter shareholding reduced to 49.4 per cent from 73.42 per cent pre-issue.
Vishal Nirmiti operates within the civil engineering, manufacturing, and construction market. Following the listing of its shares, Vishal Nirmiti will compete with domestic peers in the railway infrastructure development and pre-stressed concrete manufacturing space.
The company will use the net proceeds from the fresh issue for funding working capital requirements, repayment or pre-payment of term loans availed by the company, and for general corporate purposes.
