Danube Properties’ new commercial development, Shahrukhz by Danube, was completely sold out on the first day of its launch in Dubai. Danube Group founder and chairman Rizwan Sajan said that all units were sold within the close of the launch day itself. The AED 2.10 billion (around Rs 5,161.3 crore) project named in honour of Bollywood movie star Shah Rukh Khan was launched at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City.
Shahrukhz by Danube is positioned as a luxury commercial tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, one of Dubai's most important business corridors. The tower will cover more than one million square feet of built-up area and will have 488 commercial units, with prices starting at AED 2 million (around Rs 4.9 crore). The location has easy access to major spots, such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai International Airport, and the Gold Souk in the central business district.
The project has over 35 amenities, such as shared lounges, recreation areas, meeting zones, and sky pool, among others. There are also plans for a helipad for air taxi services.
For this project, Danube has decided to continue with its 1 per cent monthly payment plan, which it has been promoting for the past couple of years. This plan allows buyers to opt for easy instalments rather than committing bulk payments. The payment structure has been attracting interest from both end users and investors.
