How Can Senior Citizens Benefit From SANKALP Portal?

The SANKALP portal, run by the Department of Pension and Pensioner’s Welfare, helps the central government employees find work post-retirement to supplement their income or engage or volunteer in various social works. The website provides the details of eligible retirees from various government jobs for re-employment or to engage themselves in various assignments. You can also choose the organisations listed in the human resource section of the portal for jobs. Retirees can register themselves on the portal that also offers pre-retirement counseling workshops.

The Registration Process

Retirees, organisations and associations can register on the portal by sending an e-mail with all the necessary details in a filled form as prescribed by DOPPW. The department will then process the applications before registering them on the portal. Eligibility

Central government civil pensioners, defense civilians, and defense Retirees can register on the portal. To receive a 12-digit pension payment order (PPO) for enrollment, they must submit their service number, rank, office records, including date of birth, the date of superannuation, the PAN number, and the mobile number.
