Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has rolled out ‘Drive Smart’, a telematics based facility that can potentially reduce motor insurance premiums exhibiting desirable driving behaviour. The insurer will provide device, which is to be installed in the cars. Policyholders will then start real time alerts and feedback on their driving habits after downloading the app and insurance Wallet. Signing up for the service will also entitle them to offerings like 24X7 roadside assistance, car servicing, over speeding and rash driving alerts, engine or battery health indicators, real-time location sharing, if required, and so on.
