Bitcoin Dips To $118,000; Ethereum Remains Above $4,200

Bitcoin prices plummeted to $118,000 on Tuesday, a sharp decline from $122,000 a day earlier, while Ethereum prices remained stable above the $4,200-mark. At the time of writing, the total crypto market cap saw a marginal decline of 2.57 per cent to $3.96 trillion, while the 24-hour trading volume increased by 12.58 per cent to $194.57 billion.

Creator Bid BID was the most trending cryptocurrency. Its price was up by 0.09 per cent to $0.06733, and its 24-hour trading volume was $2.67 billion. Elsewhere, Pump.fun PUMP was the top gainer. It was up by 5.90 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $478.40 million. Fartcoin FARTCOIN was the top loser. It was down by 21.15 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume was $383.62 million.

The DeFi market cap was at $45.29 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin prices were down by 2.70 per cent to $118,676.06. Its 24-hour trading volume was $77.91 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.60 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum prices were down by 0.32 per cent to $4,297.85. Its 24-hour trading volume was 35.93 billion, and its market dominance was 11.08 per cent.

Tether (USDT): Tether was trading at $1, down by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $120.80 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana prices were down by 5.68 per cent to $175.63. Its 24-hour trading volume was $6.30 billion.
