Crypto Market Cap Sees Slight Gain; Bitcoin at $108,000, Ethereum Above $2,600

Crypto markets remained stable on Wednesday, with Bitcoin steady around $108,000 and Ethereum comfortably holding above $2,600. At the time of writing, the total crypto market cap saw a marginal gain of 1.00 per cent to $3.36 trillion, even as the 24-hour trading volume decreased by 4.86 per cent to $97.32 billion.

Ethereum ETH was the most trending cryptocurrency. Its price was up by 2.46 per cent to $2,609.06. Its 24-hour trading volume was $16.41 billion. Elsewhere, Cronos CRO was the top gainer. It was up by 16.54 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $228.37 million. Story IP was the top loser, and it was down by 3.41 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume was $21.02 million.

The DeFi market cap was at $32.18 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

CoinDCX said that the Bitcoin price faces some upward pressure but sustains itself above the pivotal level of resistance, which hints at a potential upswing in the coming days. With this, the other altcoins within the top 10 display strength and trade above their respective support.The top gainer for the day is Cronos, which surged over 15 per cent with a monstrous rise in the 24-hour volume.

Truth Social proposed an ETF that included multiple tokens like BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP & CRO. On the other hand, Tether invests in Crystal Intelligence to boost on-chain crime tracking and real-time fraud detection. Besides, chipmaker Sequans has secured a $384 million strategic investment to launch its Bitcoin treasury initiative, it added.

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin prices were up by 0.54 per cent to $108,618.31. Its 24-hour trading volume was $42.54 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.60 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum prices were up by 2.46 per cent to $2,609.06. Its 24-hour trading volume was $16.41 billion, and its market dominance was 9.2 per cent.

Tether (USDT): Tether was trading at $1.00. It was down by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $60.11 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana prices were up by 1.45 per cent to $151.17. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.84 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $18.25, up by 2.8 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $226.61 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.5874, up by 1.91 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $534.97 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin was up by 1.98 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1709.

Shiba Inu was up by 1.78 per cent to $0.00001184.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi Coin was up by 2.66 per cent, and it was trading at $0.002095.

Yearn Finance was up by 1.53 per cent to $5,159.83, with a 24-hour trading volume of $9.93 million.
