Crypto Market Declines Marginally, Trading Volume Up 72 Per cent; Bitcoin, Ethereum Down

The global crypto market decreased marginally on Monday. The total market cap was down by 1.24 per cent to $3.25 trillion, even as the total trading volume was up by 72.14 per cent to $142.6 billion.

Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 0.66 per cent to $102,999.53. Its 24-hour trading volume was $59.56 billion. Virtual Protocol VIRTUAL was the top gainer. It was up by 5.52 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $556.06 million. Four FORM was the top loser. It was down by 9.11 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $17.44 million.

DeFi was down by 0.87 per cent to $80.60 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 0.66 per cent to $102,999.53. Its 24-hour trading volume was $59.56 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.40 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 5.03 per cent to $2,379.65. Its 24-hour trading volume was $29.61 billion, and its market dominance was 9.10 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9998. It was down by 0.04 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $99.62 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana was down by 3.73 per cent to $163.07. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.72 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $21.66, down by 4.83 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $593.32 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.7207, down by 4.11 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.05 billion.
