Crypto Market Declines, Trading Volume Falls 18%; Bitcoin, Ethereum Down

The global crypto market declined on Thursday, with the total market cap down by 4.98 per cent to $2.79 trillion. The total trading volume was down by 18.18 per cent to $153.46 billion.

Pi PI was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 60.07 per cent to $92,065. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.44 billion. Story IP was the top gainer. It was up by 14.49 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.78 billion. Bitget Token BGB was the top loser. It was down by 10.58 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $440.14 million.

DeFi was down by 0.60 per cent to $9.26 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 4.86 per cent to $84,761.36. Its 24-hour trading volume was $69.21 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 56.59 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 7.12 per cent to $2,317.33 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $29.68 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9989. It was up by 0.03 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $125.02 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana SOL was down by 4.48 per cent to $137.33. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.07 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $22.19, down by 0.25 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $543.54 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 5.08 per cent to $0.6541 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $884.12 million.
