Crypto Market Dips Marginally, Trading Volume Declines 13 Per cent; Bitcoin, Ethereum Down

The global crypto market declined marginally on Monday. The total market cap was down by 0.56 per cent to $3.33 trillion, even as the total trading volume was up by 13.36 per cent to $123.71 billion.

Moo Deng (moodengsol.com) MOODENG was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 95.66 per cent to $0.2436. Its 24-hour trading volume was $241.10 billion. Virtuals Protocol VIRTUAL was the top gainer. It was up by 31.12 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $1.26 million. Optimism OP was the top loser. It was down by 3.16 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $338.8 million.

DeFi was down by 0.22 per cent to $24.64 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

According to CoinSwitch Markets Desk, “Bitcoin surged past the $104K mark yesterday and has held above $100K for three straight days, fueled by President Trump’s announcement of a “total reset” in U.S.-China trade relations after high level talks in Geneva. Institutional demand for BTC continued as BTC ETFs recorded $1 billion in inflows last week. Among altcoins, Ethereum rose 8 per cent over the weekend, and BNB touched $672, its highest since March.”

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum was down by 2.32 per cent to $2,495.12. Its 24-hour trading volume was $23.26 billion, and its market dominance was 9.1 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9999. It was down by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $85.51 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana was down by 1.33 per cent to $174.26. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.53 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $24.97, down by 1.30 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $402.26 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.8119, down by 0.60 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.05 billion.

Dogecoin was down by 0.64 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.2389.
