Crypto Market Dips Marginally, Trading Volume Rises 6 Per Cent; Bitcoin, Ethereum Down

The global crypto market decreased marginally on Friday. The total market cap was down by 2.13 per cent to $3.34 trillion even as the total trading volume was up by 6.82 per cent to $128.95 billion.

EAGLEBUILDER E was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 4.74 per cent to $0.001629. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.74 million. DeXe DEXE was the top gainer. It was up by 10.96 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $45.15 million. Uniswap UNI was the top loser. It was down by 13.37 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $684.68 million.

DeFi was down by 0.26 per cent to $41.65 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

CoinSwitch said that after reaching new all-time highs earlier this month, Bitcoin has pulled back to a 9-day low, and is currently hovering around the $106,000 mark. This correction follows a $471 million outflow from Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

“The re-imposition of trade tariffs by a US appeals court has also reintroduced macroeconomic uncertainty, which may be weighing on the broader market sentiment. Ethereum mirrored the decline, shedding nearly 5 per cent and slipping to the $2,600 level,” it added.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 1.42 per cent to $106,121.17. Its 24-hour trading volume was $57.41 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 62.6 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 3.79 per cent to $2,633.04. Its 24-hour trading volume was $24.72 billion, and its market dominance was 9.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1. It was down by 0.04 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $91.27 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana was down by 4.67 per cent to $164.78. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.78 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $21.74, down by 8.26 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $448.29 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.7078, down by 5.91 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $883.68 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin was down by 7.89 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.2079.

Shiba Inu was down by 6.97 per cent to $0.00001350.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi Coin was down by 5.56 per cent, and it was trading at $0.003996.

Yearn Finance was down by 4.89 per cent to $5,391.50, with a 24-hour trading volume of $19.13 million.
