Crypto Market Dips, Trading Volume Declines 21 Per Cent; Bitcoin Down, Ethereum Up

The global crypto market was marginally down on Friday, with the total market cap down by 0.97 per cent to $3.54 trillion. The total trading volume was down by 21.46 per cent to $101.45 billion.

Grok 3 GROK3 was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 30.73 per cent to $0.005541. Its 24-hour trading volume was $9.92 million. JasmyCoin JASMY was the top gainer. It was up by 26.23 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $509.45 million. OFFICIAL TRUMP TRUMP was the top loser. It was down by 9.28 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.03 billion.

DeFi was up by 1.58 per cent to $7.52 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Sathvik Vishwanath, Co-Founder & CEO, Unocoin said, "Bitcoin remains over 105,000 USD on Thursday, despite the decision of the Federal Reserve System to suspend the rate of reduced the previous day. This was followed by the Fed decision to maintain rates unchanged to 4.25 per cent-4.50 per cent, which signals Hawkish access due to persistent inflation concerns. According to Glassnode, the current bull cycle of bitcoins is reflected in 2015–2018, indicating the potential for another market euphoria based on growth. Traders are now monitoring the publication of data from the US GDP for Q4 2024, which could introduce the Bitcoins price in the coming days."

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 1.02 per cent to $3,217.15 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $18.76 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 11.6 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9999. It was down by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $78.12 billion. It is currently ranked fourth on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was down by 2.17 per cent to $235.75. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.02 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $33.86, up by 2.89 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $610.58 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 2.91 per cent to $0.9381 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $610.58 million.
