The global crypto market declined on Friday, with the total market cap down by 6.60 per cent to $2.79 trillion. The total trading volume was down by 3.28 per cent to $151.22 billion.

MyShell SHELL was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 14.29 per cent to $0.5555. Its 24-hour trading volume was $776.79 billion. Berachain BERA was the top gainer. It was up by 3.34 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $460.42 million. Story IP was the top loser. It was down by 16.84 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $479.26 million.

DeFi was down by 5.10 per cent to $8.79 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 6.69 per cent to $79,617.29. Its 24-hour trading volume was $67.84 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 56.59 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 8.92 per cent to $2,113.80 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $31.52 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9988. It was down by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $121.35 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana SOL was down by 7.87 per cent to $127.42. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.87 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $20.41, down by 8.26 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $610.42 million.
