Crypto Market Falls, Trading Volume Surges 78%; Bitcoin, Ethereum Down

The global crypto market decreased marginally on Tuesday, with the total market cap down by 4.72 per cent to $2.97 trillion even as the total trading volume surged by 78.78 per cent to $143 billion.

Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 3.31 per cent to $92,065.00. Its 24-hour trading volume was $51.54 billion. Story IP was the top gainer. It was up by 17.38 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $612.57 million. Sonic (prev. FTM) S was the top loser. It was down by 17.51 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $441.24 million.

DeFi was down by 4.92 per cent to $10.35 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 3.31 per cent to $92,065.00. Its 24-hour trading volume was $51.54 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 56.59 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 7.64 per cent to $2,709.21 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $30.87 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9997. It was down by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $112.65 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
