Crypto Market Gains Marginally, Trading Volume Dips; Bitcoin Down, Ethereum Up

The global crypto market increased marginally on Wednesday, with the total market cap up by 0.39 per cent to $2.71 trillion. The total trading volume was slightly down by 1.51 per cent to $71.85 billion.

Bubblemaps BMT was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 7.81 per cent to $0.2409. Its 24-hour trading volume was $590.47 billion. EOS EOS was the top gainer. It was up by 24.60 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $407.92 million. Four FORM was the top loser. It was down by 12.64 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $81.64 million.

DeFi was up by 2.03 per cent to $6.38 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

BTC remains in “no man’s land” on lower time frames, with volatility expected around the FOMC meeting on March 18-19. With a 99 per cent chance of unchanged interest rates, markets focus on Powell’s speech. Bitcoin must flip $85,000 into support for $90,000 targets, regaining the 200-day EMA. Bitcoin ETFs saw $274M inflows on March 17, supporting bulls. Bears aim for sub-$78,000 levels, with key support at $74,000, $71,300, and $66,810. BTC must reclaim $86,250 to confirm bullish momentum.”

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin was down by 0.11 per cent to $82,952.59. Its 24-hour trading volume was $24.29 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 60.40 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum was up by 1.38 per cent to $1,933.07. Its 24-hour trading volume was $10.66 billion, and its market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9998. It was down by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $55.67 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana was up by 1.22 per cent to $125.94. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.16 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $19.13, up by 2.70 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $272.67 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.7087, up by 0.57 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $677.88 million.

Dogecoin was up by 0.36 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1682.

Shiba Inu was down by 1.06 per cent to $0.00001256.

DeFi Coin was down by 5.74 per cent, and it was trading at $0.004352.
