Crypto Market Gains Marginally, Trading Volume Rises; Bitcoin, Ethereum Up

The global crypto market increased marginally on Friday. The total market cap was up by 1.48 per cent to $3.01 trillion, even as the total trading volume was up by 4.87 per cent to $83.29 billion.

CreatorBid BID was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 3.26 per cent to $1.64. Its 24-hour trading volume was $535.88 million. Immutable IMX was the top gainer. It was up by 13.63 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $142.61 million. Ethena ENA was the top loser. It was down by 5.60 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $189.91 million.

DeFi was down by 0.17 per cent to $5.42 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

According to CoinSwitch Markets Desk, "BTC crossed the $97,000 mark for the first time in over 70 days, drawing closer to reclaiming the $100K milestone, fueled by institutional optimism as Wall Street giants Morgan Stanley and Charles Schwab plan to offer crypto trading to their clients. BTC is now trading well above its 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages, indicating strong bullish momentum. Several altcoins also rose, with DOGE up 5.1 per cent, ADA gaining 4 per cent, and AVAX rising 4.8 per cent. Meanwhile, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s crypto-linked digital identity project, Worldcoin — now rebranded as “World” — is making its U.S. debut.”

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin was up by 1.93 per cent to $96,839.97. Its 24-hour trading volume was $32.82 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 60.40 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum was up by 1.42 per cent to $1,835.78. Its 24-hour trading volume was $15.40 billion, and its market dominance was 14.26 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1. It was down by 0.01 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $63.39 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana was up by 0.53 per cent to $149.85. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.27 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $21.73, up by 2.94 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $348.55 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.7103, up by 2.68 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $683.42 million.

Dogecoin was up by 3.97 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1808.

Shiba Inu was down by 1.72 per cent to $0.00001344.

DeFi Coin was down by 0.42 per cent, and it was trading at $$0.005017.
