Crypto Market Gains Marginally, Trading Volume Surges 55 Per cent; Bitcoin, Ethereum Up

The global crypto market increased marginally on Friday. The total market cap was up by 5.44 per cent to $3.22 trillion, even as the total trading volume was up by 55.66 per cent to $161.31 billion.

Ethereum ETH was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 16.71 per cent to $2,214.66. Its 24-hour trading volume was $37.97 billion. Virtuals Protocol VIRTUAL was the top gainer. It was up by 40.80 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was 989.99 million. Four FORM was the top loser. It was down by 7.68 per cent, and its 24-hour trading volume was $54.61 million.

DeFi was up by 0.89 per cent to $25.74 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

The breakout above $100K follows BlackRock’s recent $4.4B BTC purchase and strong ETF activity, signaling deep-pocketed confidence. Technically, BTC trades well above its 50- and 200-day moving averages, with resistance near $107K and support around $97.7K. With greed driving sentiment, BTC may soon challenge its all-time high if momentum sustains.”

Bitcoin (BTC): Bitcoin was up by 4.23 per cent to $102,947.70. Its 24-hour trading volume was $66.06 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 60.40 per cent.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum was up by 16.71 per cent to $2,214.66. Its 24-hour trading volume was $37.97 billion, and its market dominance was 14.26 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9998. It was down by 0.03 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $111 billion. It is currently ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana was up by 8.09 per cent to $162.55. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.95 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $22.27, up by 8.71 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $526.05 million.

Cardano ADA was trading at $0.7603, up by 8.60 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.39 billion.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin was up by 8.34 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1952.

Shiba Inu was up by 7.94 per cent to $0.00001429.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi Coin was up by 6.25 per cent, and it was trading at $0.004973.

Yearn Finance was up by 11.67 per cent to $5,934.61, with a 24-hour trading volume of $33.64 million.
