Crypto Market Gains Marginally, Trading Volume Dips 22%; Bitcoin, Ethereum Up

The global crypto market gained marginally on Thursday, with the total market cap up by 5.13 per cent to $3.64 trillion, even as the total trading volume was down by 22.39 per cent to $219.12 billion.

Pepe Unchained PEPU was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 88.48 per cent to $0.04304. Its 24-hour trading volume was 33.45 million. Aave AAVE was the top gainer. It was up by 33.73 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.37 billion. XDC Network XDC was the top loser. It was down by 35.00 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $60.78 million.

DeFi was up by 15.20 per cent to $17.77 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was up by 2.94 per cent to $100,554.18. Its 24-hour trading volume was $81.6 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 59.5 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 7.24 per cent to $3,928.71 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $36.73 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1. It was down by 0.03 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $182.62 billion. It is currently ranked fourth on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was up by 6.03 per cent to $231.59. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.2 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $50.60, up by 14.62 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $952.23 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 15.82 per cent to $1.17 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.31 billion.

Dogecoin DOGE was up by 7.09 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.4191.

Shiba Inu SHIB was up by 9.58 per cent to $0.00002944.

DeFi coin was trading at $0.03729, up by 14.42 per cent.

Yearn Finance YFI was up by 12.50 per cent to $11,887.30 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $114.56 million.
